Vice President of Investments
Jason joined Open Prairie Ventures in 2004 as Vice President of Investments and is responsible for screening new investment opportunities, oversight of existing portfolio companies, and investor relations. He is also co-founder of Fieldcrest Development, LLC, a real estate development company specializing in residential construction throughout
Prior to joining Open Prairie Ventures, Jason developed early-stage operational experience as Chief Operating Officer of an outdoor advertising company and Chief Financial Officer of a multi-store retail consumer rental franchise. He also worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative with Eli Lilly and Company and operated an independent insurance agency which was successfully divested in 2004.
Jason is actively involved in his local community, serving as co-head coach of the Effingham Swim Team, Chairman of the Advisory Committee for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Effingham County and leads the Sustainability Committee for the Effingham Unit 40 Mentoring Program.
